Mike Garvey get well card:

Thursday, I call to let Mike know Clint wanted to ride up together if he was playing in the Burlington tourney.  Mrs. Marie Garvey told me Mike has been in ICU for 30 some days at Moore Regional Hospital in Pinehurst and things didn't look good. I told her she had our prayers and love and we would miss him and send him a get well card from the group.

Sunday I called to find out how Mike was doing, and possibly if we could visit him... his son, Michael, Jr. told me Mike passed away Sunday morning, June 21, 2009. His obituary will run in Pilot - Southern Pines, Greensboro News & Record, Sanford Herald, Raleigh News & Observer, and Charlotte Observer. Boles Funeral Homes has Mr. Garvey's Obituary on their website and a wake or family visitation is open to the public at Boles Funeral Home in Seven Lakes on Tuesday, June 23, 2009 from 6 to 9PM.  click the blue highlighted subjects for directions and funeral details.
